Parker Oktoberfest

 DISTANCE: 5Km (3.1 miles) & 10Km (6.2 miles)

 START/FINISH: 

The walk begins and ends at O’Brien Park on the NE corner of Parker Road (Hwy 83) and Mainstreet in Parker, Colorado. The Parker Oktoberfest will be held in the park which is in old town Parker. There are several restaurants in the area.

 

START:  9am-Noon  FINISH: By 3pm 5Km GROUP WALK: 10am

  

FEES:      $3.00 - IVV Credit    

Award:     $4.00 - Genuine German Volksmarching steins

 

RATING: 1A - Elevation 5,908 feet with minimal elevation gain

 

The 12th Annual Parker Oktoberfest hosted by CASC will take place Sept. 15-17, 2017. Fri 6 - 10 pm, Sat 11 am - 10 pm and Sun 10 am - 5 pm.  The event will feature live German music, Bavarian dancers, a Biergarten featuring three Paulaner beers – Hefeweizen, Oktoberfest Marzen, and a Premium Pilsner, a number of competitions, and delicious German food.

 

Admission is free for this family-friendly German-themed festival.  The event includes a number of fun activities for children, great things to do for adults, and is family friendly. There will be kids rides including an obstacle course, bungee tramp, a slide and much more!  The festival boasts over 100 total vendors and a variety of activities for children. Come join in celebrating the Parker Oktoberfest and add a little umpah pah to your day.
